Ingredients
- Cookie dough:
- 160 g all-purpose flour
- 95 g Dutch-process cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 100 g brown sugar
- 70 g unsalted butter, melted and cold
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 75 g confectioners’ sugar
- 75 g butter
- a few drops vanilla extract
Vanilla buttercream:
Directions:
- Into a medium-size bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, sugar and salt; set aside.
- In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, mix butter and egg; beat to combine. With mixer on low speed, gradually add the flour mixture; continue beating until dough is well combined.
- Place the dough between two paper parchment, and roll out the dough using a rolling pin, to a thickness of 0,5 mm. Freeze for 15 minutes, while preheating oven to 375 degrees.
- Take the dough out of the freezer, cut and transfer to a baking sheet lined with paper parchment
- Transfer to oven, and bake until cookies are firm, about 10 to 12 minutes
- Transfer baking sheet to wire rack to cool completely.
- Place cream filling in a pastry bag fitted with a coupler, and pipe about 1 tablespoon filling onto the flat side of half the cookies. Place remaining cookies on top, and gently press on each to squeeze filling to edges.
- To prepare the cream filling, place ingredients in the bowl of an electric mixer. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Set aside at room temperature until ready to use

Prepare homemade sugar cubes after this recipe, and using a drop of chocolate, paste a chocolate heart. Let dry at room temperature.
{Valentine yogurt glasses}
Using an draw pen, outline a heart outside the glass. Melt some chocolate, and draw a chocolate heart inside of the glass with a small brush. Place in the fridge and serve filled with yogurt.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar (220 g)
- 3 tsp grenadine
Directions
- Grease a heart-shaped lollipop mold and place it over paper parchment
- In a medium saucepan combine sugar, and grenadine, and bring to boil over medium heat.
- Boil for about 3 minutes. (To check if the caramel is ready, let a spoonful syrup drop inside a glass of cold water, immerse your hand in the cold water, try to form the sugar into a ball, and bring it out of the water. Once out of the water, the syrup will crack if you try to mold it)
- Remove from heat and fill greased lollipop molds with caramel. Place lollipop sticks and let it set at room temperature
