{Homemade Pixie Sticks}

Summary: Homemade Pixie stiks, inspired by this idea

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dehydrated powdered strawberry or raspberry
  • 1-2 tablespoons confectioners’ sugar
  • paper straws (you can buy them here)

Directions

  1. Mix strawberry powder and sugar and pour this mixture into a paper cone
  2. Seal the end of every paper straw using some fondant paste (or melted chocolate-you’ll have
    to let it set- or just by folding the paper straw’s end)
  3. Insert every straw into the paper cone to get the strawberries powder and sugar mix in easily.(the original recipe proposes a different way to fill the paper straws, but I found it too difficult, it almost take 10 minutes to fill each stick!)
  4. Seal the other end of the straw, and enjoy like a kid.

Preparation time: 10 minute(s)

Number of servings (yield): 12 Pixie Sticks
