{Walnut Sweet Bread}
Ingredients
- 50 g butter, melted
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 raisins
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 º F. Grease and flour a cake pan
- On a large bowl, beat sugar and melted butter. Add egg and milk, and keep on whisking.
- Add flour and baking powder, and mix with a spatula.
- Add the walnuts and raisins, slightly floured.
- Spread the batter evenly into the prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes. Take out of the oven, transfer to a wire rack and let cool before serving and enjoy

Made this last night and it was delish! Half the loaf was gone this morning before we left the house. Although I didn’t have any walnuts and used pecans instead but I can only imagine how yummy it would be with the walnuts!
